A friend I worked with taught me this recipe about 10 years ago. It is warm and creamy with a Tex Mex flavor. Everyone always loves it. Once you've made it, just remember that it has 7 ingredients, and you'll never need to look at the recipe again. What's you're favorite party dip?
Creamy Tacos
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix, such as Old El Paso
1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles, such as Rotel, undrained
1 small box Velveeta, cut into chunks (or more if you like a lot of cheese)
1 can seasoned chili beans
1 can evaporated milk (or equal amount of 1/2 and 1/2)
1 can diced green chiles, mild or hot, to taste
Brown ground beef. Drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix. Transfer seasoned beef to crock pot. Add all other ingredients. Heat in crock pot on low 1-2 hours, until hot and all cheese is melted. Serve with scoopable corn chips, such as Frito's Scoops.
